The sweet spots
October and November, and March and April, are the months when the most regions work at once. Spring brings the whales and penguins to the coast and opens the trails in the south; autumn brings the grape harvest and the red and gold of the Patagonian forests.
High summer (December to February) is peak season for Patagonia, with long days and full hotels. It is also hot and humid in Buenos Aires and Iguazú, and the rainy season in the north.
